The Artichoke Co-op is a not-for-profit store open to the public and a Membership Bulk Ordering Club, both are Member owned and operated.
OUR PRODUCTS
The Artichoke Food Coop stocks a wide variety of top-quality organic, natural, ethnic, and specialty foods. We offer both bulk and pre-packaged goods.
OUR MISSION
To serve a long term interest in a healthier environment and a more just society, while meeting practical needs for access to healthy, inexpensive food. To achieve this goal we strive to sell local, organic, and minimally packaged products, where possible. By doing this we hope to strengthen the local economy, support local farmers and make healthy food accessible. See Store page for more about what we carry.
As a Not-for-Profit organization, we put all of the money we make into restocking inventory and paying utilities.
Every Co-op Member receives a discount in the store and can order any item directly from our suppliers at 15% above the wholesale price. Members run the store, make decisions about how the Co-op operates and reach agreement through consensus-based votin
Store Hours:
Monday – Friday 4pm-7pm
Saturday 10am-1pm, Sunday 3pm-6pm
We accept cash, check and EBT cards for all purchases.
